Robot & Tool Design

Integrated hardware design technology covering everything from the robot structure to the end-effector, end to end.

Integrated Robot Hardware Design

For robots to work reliably on real industrial sites,
perception and decision-making algorithms must be matched by robot structures and end-effectors designed for the actual task conditions.
Building on our experience designing and assembling heavy-payload industrial robot manipulators and humanoid robots,
Euler Robotics has the integrated design capability to handle everything from robot structure to tool design, end to end.

Robot Hardware Design Stages

We work in distinct stages, from task requirement analysis through structure and drivetrain design and tool design to integrated review.

  1. 1
    Task Requirement Analysis
  2. 2
    Structure & Drivetrain Design
  3. 3
    Dynamics & Stiffness Analysis
  4. 4
    Tool (End-Effector) Design
  5. 5
    Integrated System Validation

Key Features of Our Robot Hardware Design

01Robot Structure & Drivetrain Design

Drawing on our experience developing industrial robot manipulators and humanoid robots, we design structures that account for payload, working reach, repeatability and durability. We verify structural stability through dynamics and stiffness analysis and select motors and reducers suited to the task conditions.

02Optimized Robot Tool Design

We have designed and built our own vacuum grippers specialized for pick-and-place tasks. By designing tools around the size, weight and surface properties of the target objects, suction stability and required cycle speed, we handle a wide range of task conditions that off-the-shelf tools struggle to cover.

03End-to-End In-House Design

With in-house robot system design capability, we can build custom end-effectors for each set of task conditions, reducing dependence on off-the-shelf robots and tools and improving both on-site applicability and operational stability in logistics.
